A guide to using free e-learning resources in social care

Most of us recognise how organisational processes could be improved, but knowing how to tackle them or what to tackle first can be difficult. A.A Milne (2000, p.1) sums up this problem superbly:

‘Here is Edward Bear, coming downstairs now, bump, bump, bump, on the back of his head, behind Christopher Robin. It is, as far as he knows, the only way of coming downstairs, but sometimes he feels that there really is another way, if only he could stop bumping for a moment and think of it.’

This is a guide for Social Care sector employers – whether you are a private employer, in the voluntary sector or a local authority doesn’t actually matter. It’s a guide that contains much needed clear information on where to find and how best to use these free e-learning resources.
